Jennifer DeSimone Bacon - Director & Head Coach

Jenny Bacon is an International and National level Synchronized Skating Coach and has been coaching synchronized skating since 2003. Under her leadership, DC EDGE has been named to Team USA, and earned multiple National Championship titles and numerous National and Sectional podium finishes. Jenny holds a Master PSA Synchronized Team Rating and has a Level IV Ranking. In addition to coaching, Jenny serves as the Director of Skating. Jenny graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing, and is the mom of two girls.

Christine Burke - Assistant Director

Christine Burke has been with DC EDGE as a skater since it's inception in 2008 and involved with synchronized skating for over 20 years. She continues to skate as a member of the DC EDGE Adult and Masters team, and joined the coaching staff in 2009. Christine teaches Learn to Skate group classes and private lessons at the Wheaton and Cabin John Ice Arenas, and holds her Registered PSA Synchro and Moves in the Field Ratings. She graduated from George Washington University with a Masters degree in Forensic Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
