OPEN HOUSE & TRYOUT DATES

 

MASTERS & OPEN ADULT:
April 26, June 14 and July 12

ADULT:
May 3, June 21 and July 19

7:00– 9:00 pm

We will start with a brief orientation, followed by off-ice, and an hour of on-ice. 

We strongly recommend attending all sessions for your desired level, but skaters are required to attend at least one open house per level that they wish to tryout for. 

Please wear black yoga/jazz pants or a black skating skirt with a fitted top. 

There is a $35 registration fee for all skaters.  

DC EDGE plans to field the following teams for the 2009-2010 Season:

 

Adult: 12 to 20 skaters, all skaters must be 21 years or older. This is a nationally competitive level which competes under the International Judging System. All skaters are required to have passed preliminary moves in the field, preliminary figure or preliminary dance. We recommend that skaters have passed intermediate moves in the field or equivalent, and have some ice dancing experience. Click here for the Adult tryout skills list.

Masters: 12 to 20 skaters, all skaters must be 25 years or older. This is a nationally competitive level. There is no required test for this level, but skaters should be proficient through the juvenile moves in the field test. Click here for the Masters tryout skills list.

Open Adult: 8 to12 skaters, the majority of the team must be 19 years or older. This team competes at the sectional level.
